VOCABULARY

Information report: A non-fiction text that informs/ teaches the audience about a topic

 

Text structure: The way Information texts are set out or organised.


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Students can choose a topic they love and start researching facts about their chosen topic.

 

Students are to list facts thinking about what the subheading could be.

 

Example: group all the information about where an animal lives under a subheading habitat.
