UPDATE

COLLEGE ASSEMBLY

At our College Assembly last week, we recognised and congratulated many students across all year levels who had achieved Principal's Awards and College Medallions. Congratulations to all awardees!  

ASSESSMENTS

Across the College, students completed assessments and submitted final assignments for the term. These assessment results will be reflected in the Semester 1 report cards available on the parent portal on the last day of Term 2. Students will have access to their reports when they return for reflection and goal setting for semester 2. 

HOUSE ASSEMBLY

On Tuesday, the House Assembly will announce the overall Term 2 Champion House. Students must wear their HOUSE UNIFORM for this event. We look forward to celebrating our winning house on Tuesday based on participation and overall house spirit across the college community. 

CAIRNS EISTEDDFOD

This week, many students from the college, including our college choir, are participating in the Cairns Eisteddfod. We wish all students the best of luck at the competition and look forward to hearing about their successes. 

FINAL LITURGY & FAREWELL - Term 2

This Friday, we will farewell some departing staff and students during our end-of-term liturgy. We wish these families and staff luck in their future endeavours. The liturgy will be a great opportunity for our community to come together and reflect on Term 2.

We wish all families and students in our St. Mary's community a happy and relaxing break during these school holidays. We welcome all students back at the College on Monday, July 8.

QUEENSLAND INDEPENDENT SECONDARY SCHOOLS RUGBY LEAGUE & NETBALL (QISSN & QISSRL)

Over the holidays, our Rugby League and Netball Teams will participate in the Queensland Independent Secondary School Rugby League & Netball Competition in Townsville. We wish our teams, coaches, and managers the best of luck at the carnival and look forward to hearing about the results upon their return.

RELAY FOR LIFE

Relay for Life will occur at the end of the first week of Term 3. We thank all families and students for supporting this great event and raising money for the Cancer Council. 

7 CAIRNS MARATHON & COMMUNITY RUN FESTIVAL

The St Mary's community is invited to join our team at the 7 Cairns Running Festival on Sunday, 14 July, Term 3, Week 1. This community event offers 2km, 5km, 10km, 21.1km and 42.2km run and walk events. Join the St Mary's team at registration for 10% off your entry fee!
