This award goes to Zeke for being a polite and considerate class member who always uses his manners. Zeke's love of books and reading is truly inspiring, and I love to hear him tell me all about the latest story he is reading. Well done Zeke!

Hope B. - 1/2F

This award goes to Hope for her wonderful efforts towards her writing lately. It is great to see how hard you are practising your handwriting and letter/sound knowledge at home and in the classroom. Keep up the amazing work Hope, you are a superstar!

Aria K. - 1/2K

This award goes to Aria for the fantastic persuasive writing she did this week about her doll. Aria used a rhetorical question, repetition and the 'rule of 3' as the persuasive devices on her advertisement. She used her knowledge of letters and their sounds to draft all of her work herself. Well done Aria!

Adrian V. - 3/4F

This award goes to Adrian for displaying the Scoresby HEART value of Excellence in Writing this week. He carefully selected a paralympic athlete that he had things in common with. Adrian then thoughtfully wrote ideas in a Google Doc for a letter of encouragement to send to his chosen athlete. Keep up the great work, Adrian!

Wil S. - 3/4H

This award goes to Wil. You consistently approach your learning with enthusiasm and curiosity. When faced with a challenge, you are not afraid to ask for help and extend your thinking. You should feel very proud of every time you have embraced your learning with 100% effort. Keep up the great work, Wil!

Angela H. - 3/4S

This award goes to Angela for developing her confidence when working in small groups. Angela is contributing to group work more often and this was demonstrated when building a cart using K’NEX. Angela, it is lovely to see you being more confident at school.

Medina N. - 3/4S

This award goes to Medina for the improvement she has made over the last couple of weeks with her listening. Medina is demonstrating that she is more focused during lessons and she is able to recall information she has heard. It is wonderful to see that Medina is improving her active listening skills. Keep up the great work.

This award goes to James for the fantastic effort you have put into your handwriting, and the progress you have been making with Write2Read. You have shown the Excellence HEART value through your awesome handwriting and the determination you have shown to improve, along with the passion you show during Rigour sessions towards your knowledge of the codes! You’re a superstar, James!

Noah N. - 5/6S

This award is presented to Noah for his outstanding efforts in Tee-ball during Winter Sports. Noah consistently demonstrated excellent sportsmanship in every game, showing respect and encouragement to both teammates and opponents. These are admirable qualities to have in sports. I am very proud of you, Noah. Well done.

Louis W. - 5/6W

The award goes to Louis for the excellent sportsmanship that he displayed at Winter Sport this week. Louis, you cheered on your team, clapped for every goal and listened to feedback and strategies from your coach and team. You had the biggest smile on your face all day. Thank you for being such a wonderful goal keeper! I look forward to seeing you continue with this attitude at Division!

Alisha W. - Mandarin

This award goes to Alisha for her big learning improvement in Mandarin class. This year, week by week, Alisha showed her  exceptional learning attitude. She consistently engaged in all learning activities and did her best to complete every task in Mandarin class. I appreciate the efforts you put into your learning. Well done Alisha and keep up your good work!  

Kirk W. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Kirk for his amazing creativity and effort this term. Kirk has worked with enthusiasm and great care when practising new techniques and ideas and has created some fantastic, animal art pieces. Brilliant work Kirk!
