After several postponements, we are excited our downhill snow program will commence next Wednesday, 22nd July.Students at required to arrive at school, in the bus shelter, no later than 8:30am.  Ths allows for an equipment check before loading the bus and setting off at 8:45am.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to ski lessons not finishing until 3pm, the bus will not return to school until 3:45pm -4pm.  Students who usually catch the bus home from school will need to have alternate arrangements for collection back at school

We are fortunate to have several wonderful local businesses that can assist with equipment and clothing hire, including Ski Plus, Kiewa Valley Snowsports and Rocky Valley, all conveniently located in Tawonga South. To ensure a smooth and stress-free start to the program, please visit your chosen ski shop in advance to organise any required hire equipment. This allows staff to have everything prepared and ready for collection on Tuesday evening before the program begins.

Students will require:

  • Thermal base layers
  • Fleece jumper
  • Long socks
  • Two pairs of waterproof gloves
  • Waterproof walking boots
  • Ski pants or overalls
  • Ski jacket
  • Beanie
  • Face buff
  • Helmet

Skiers will also require:

  • Downhill skis
  • Ski boots
  • Ski poles

Snowboarders are required, as directed by the Department of Education, to wear wrist guards, unless we receive written request by families (experienced snowboarders only).

We also recommend packing a change of clothes and extra warm layers in case clothing becomes wet or weather conditions change throughout the day.

Warm, dry skiers and snowboarders are happy skiers and snowboarders!

If you have any questions, please speak with a member of our staff team.

Prep - 3 with Kathryn

This week in PE our P-3 students enjoyed reconnecting to complete some fun games and fundamental skill activities. We played 'Rob the nest' and then rotated through activities - catching and throwing, target throws, basketball shooting, skipping and soccer dribbling! All to the beat of some fun, sporty music!
