Bullying No Way Week
Bullying No Way Week was a great success across BSPS, with a range of activities throughout the week promoting kindness, gratitude and connection.
On Monday, students gathered at the front entrance to draw and write messages of kindness in chalk, creating something to bring a smile to the faces of people coming and going from our school.
On Tuesday, we enjoyed some music while creating thank you notes for someone in our lives that we are grateful for. It was wonderful to see students taking the time to recognise and appreciate the people around them.
On Friday, we came together as a whole school to eat, hear a message from the Inclusion Action Team and celebrate the final week of our Caught Being Kind initiative. Six students were drawn from our kindness draw, which has been running for the past six weeks in the lead-up to Bullying No Way Week. There were so many slips in the box, representing the compassion, kindness and care we see across BSPS every day.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the week such a success. Keep spreading kindness and showing that small acts can have a big impact!
Amici Insieme
Amici Insieme is also now in its sixth week! Our groups meet each Monday to learn social and emotional skills, connect with students outside their year level and enjoy activities together. It has been lovely to see our student leaders taking on the challenge and finding their own unique ways to lead, connect and support others. We are so proud of the way they are embracing their roles!
