Digital Technology

Cybersafety

Cybersafety is a major concern for everyone involved with the education of young people. Parents and teachers alike, need to be informed about digital technology and what our children might be exposed to. It is important to give children the skills they need at each stage of their growth, to navigate the digital world safely and to make informed decisions.

The eSafety Commissioner has made a multitude of resources available to parents and carers to help us tackle this issue with support and up to date information. There are webinars, information on parental controls on devices, as well as how to handle tricky topics such as inappropriate texting and cyberbullying.

Please spend some time looking through the resources and having those conversations with your children about how to stay safe online. You can access this on https://www.esafety.gov.au/parents
