Year 2/3

Year 2/3 have been enjoying their Get Reading Right programme which is a synthetic phonics approach to spelling. One of the activities they particularly enjoy is the spelling version of 'Pass the Parcel', where each child who removes a layer of paper also has to read the word that is revealed in that layer.

In Science and Technology, the class is investigating living and non-living things. There have been some very interesting discussions about what makes something living or non-living.
