Wow! What a week it has been for our class. We started off the week with a trip to GMHBA Stadium in Geelong to have a tour of the stadium, watch a bit of the Geelong Cats training session, collect some data on our personal Draft Combine performances and compete as teams in STEM based football challenges. Congratulations to the ‘Horses’ team on their win in this challenge.
Next we had our House Sports day. It was great to see all students encouraging each other and doing their best. It was also fantastic to have our school leaders assisting with the running of the activities. Congratulations to the Dreeite (Yellow) team, lead by Kayden, on their win.
Finally, the Polwarth Sports day held on Thursday. It was an amazing effort by all of the Alvie PS students and I was particularly impressed by our ‘Yellow Tail’ class members who all tried their absolute best. A BIG, BIG congratulations goes out to ‘Yellow Tail’ class members Chloe and Kayden who won their age group on the day. Well done!
