Wellbeing Page

Dear families,

Lately, we have noticed an increasing number of our students coming to school past our official start time of 8:50.

Punctuality plays an important role in your child's academic journey and overall well-being. Being at school on time isn't just about meeting the clock; it's about setting the stage for success.

The first 10 minutes of the day are essential in classrooms for settling students, organisation for the day ahead, sharing important information and connecting as a class group.

When students arrive promptly, they're better prepared to engage in the day's lessons and actively participate in class discussions. Often, students who come in after the lesson has started can find it difficult to tune in to the content of the lesson.

Consistent punctuality establishes healthy routines that promote well-being. It reduces stress and anxiety, allowing students to start the day with confidence and a sense of control.

Remember, every minute counts in the pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. So let's ensure that our students make the most of their educational journey by being on time, every time.

Warm regards,
