Emmanuel College
There is always a lot happening at Emmanuel with on-campus incursions and off-campus activities. A group of Year 9 students recently visited the Newport Railway Academy for an immersion day. This was a great opportunity for students to learn about career pathways in the railway industry, hands-on experience in track safety, communication, signalling and getting to step inside a new state-of-the-art Metro train.
Our first Liverpool International Football Academy event was an outstanding success with more than 260 children enjoying a free training session at Notre Dame Campus. It was wonderful to see the camaraderie between students and coaching staff and we are excited about our future connections with Liverpool, including the upcoming school holiday program.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys hockey team which went through the season undefeated to take out the 2023 SACCSS Senior Boys Hockey Championship. It was a fantastic achievement for everyone involved and a display of true teamwork.
Last week we mentioned the Science Fair. This was an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of science and the application of their learning. It was a brilliant event with family and friends enjoying the work of the students. This leads into the Arts Showcase which is being held next week with a celebration of visual and performing arts being held at the Notre Dame Campus.

l am Sravya Raavi; I did my International Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management and did Diploma in Early Childhood Services. I worked for five years as an Assistant Educator in early childhood services and now working at QB and I am looking forward to include and involve many play based learning experiences for children engaging families, parents and community. I am classical dancer and love spending time with my children, reading books, and going on long drives.

2023 Lanard Copeland Spring Holiday Basketball Camp
Bounce into the school holidays with the Lanard Copeland Spring Holiday Basketball Camp!
Register before 4th September 2023 to go into the draw to win an ELECTRONIC BASKETBALL SHOOTING SYSTEM!
The camp is open to participants aged between 5 – 16 years. Previous basketball experience is not essential as children are grouped according to their age and ability. This camp will cover the fundamental skills of basketball focusing on shooting, defense and ball-handling in a fun and friendly environment with our experienced coaches!
The Camp is a 2 day event running on Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th September 2023, from 9 am – 3 pm daily.
Price: $160.00 per participant
Please bring: Lunch, water, a basketball and some snacks!
There will be fruit, prizes and giveaways over the course of the camp and the Canteen will also be open so bring some money with you for a treat!
