PING PONG-A-THON
Our annual Ping Pong-a-Thon event is getting closer!
There are many ways for students and families to get involved in this special date in the life of our school community. Here’s what you need to know:
The Pong: Thursday 14th September
How students can be involved:
· Students are encouraged to dress up in Retro 80s theme! Pong T-Shirts and Headbands will be available for sale from Monday 29th August at Reception, if you would like to make a purchase.
· BBQ Sausage Lunch will be available for students for a gold coin donation.
· Ping Pong themed activities for classes happening throughout the school day.
· Primary Students can donate to your child/ren’s year level hamper/s – see email from your class teacher regarding your theme.
How families can be involved:
· Join us for the High Tea, 10.30am – 12:30pm ( see upcoming events page in this newsletter to book)
· After-School Family Frenzy ping-pong action in the Gym. 3.30pm – 4.30pm. No cost to attend, after school snacks available for purchase.
Note: Students must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
· Family Fun Event in the Gym, 5.30pm – 6.30pm. Ping-Pong Games and Dinner for gold coin donations. Please indicate your intention to attend via https://bit.ly/PongFamilyFun
· Sign up at pingpongathon.com and join the BHCS event! This allows you to share with family and friends who may like to donate to this cause and help us reach our fundraising goal.
· Bid on one or more of our amazing Hampers in the Silent Auction! Hampers will be on display in the DC from Monday 11th September.
The aim of this event is to raise awareness and much needed funds to promote human freedom, whilst having some fun and building community in the process.
