Gidja Walker an Indigenous plant expert worked with our year 3 and 4 students to create moulded bowls from local plant material. Gidja is a leading advisor for Boneo Park and Tootgarook Wetlands and generously shared her wisdom about plants, animals and the wetlands. The Shire is very supportive of our Fighting Extinction program in our middle school and arranged for the incursion.
We are very lucky that in September the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery is exhibiting The Archibald Prize finalists. As a part of the exhibition the gallery is also showcasing the most talented Little Archie’s from the Mornington Peninsula.
We have four amazing students short-listed. The best student portraits on the Mornington Peninsula will be exhibited during the Archibald Exhibition. What an honour!!!
