Literacy and Numeracy Week  

Our lucky students have had a fantastic time taking part in some super special maths incursions this week to celebrate Literacy and Numeracy Week!  P-2 students had a visit from Noah from the 'World of Maths'. They solved problems with their team mates and explored lots of mathematical concepts. 

Our year 3 to 6 students enjoyed a visit from Louisa from 'Maths Show' followed by the 'Amazing Race'.  Students worked in teams to solve problems and get a clue to the next location around the school. It was lots of boisterous fun, and students did some fantastic thinking and problem-solving in their teams.  Well done!

Author's visit for Book Week

Author Andrea Rowe came to Fatima to celebrate Book Week. What an amazing opportunity to hear her story about becoming an author and how she gets her ideas! Our students were captivated! We know we have some budding authors among our students, and Andrea definitely inspired them to continue to write.
