Yr3/4 Football Clinics

All year 3 and 4 classes were lucky to have The Western Victoria Football Academy coaches deliver their PE lessons for 4 weeks this term. The kids practised their skills and played loads of mini games to improve their football skills. It was great to have Jason and past pupil of St Pats, Noah, coaching the kids over the 4 sessions. 

The academy also ran a lunchtime fun session where kids used their skills to land a strong kick onto the huge inflatable target. Congratulations to Jackson Knight and Lachie Tehan who won themselves a voucher for their efforts on the day. Eureka Basketball Competition

We had 3 fabulous teams represent St Pats at the Eureka Basketball Competition at Selkirk Stadium. They had a very successful day playing matches against other Ballarat schools.  Our A Boys won their division on the day and will progress to the Greater Western Competition on October 25th. Our B Girls also finished top of their table and will be a very competitive team in the comp next year when they are in Year 6. Many thanks to the parent helpers who coached and supported our teams on the day. Thanks to the kids for playing with such great determination and sportsmanship. 

The students really make me very proud of the way they look after each other and are respectful of the other teams and the competition when we go to these events.
