Book Fair - Wednesday 30th August - Friday 7th September

Students will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during their library sessions, before school (8:30 - 8:45am) and after school (3:30 - 3:45pm). It's the perfect chance to expand their personal library. A range of books, including popular titles, classics, and new releases will be available. Students will have the chance to find their next great read! Novelty items such as posters, pencils, pens & erasers will also be on sale. Parents/carers are welcome before and after school!

What's Been happening in Year 4

The Year 4 students have been diving into Australian history by exploring the remarkable journeys of early explorers. Over the past few weeks, they've delved into the stories of individuals such as James Cook and Abel Tasman who paved the way for our nation's development. Putting their newfound knowledge to use, the students have crafted an insightful nonfiction book to demonstrate their learning. These historians have also honed their presentation skills, eagerly preparing to share their discoveries with their classmates and teachers. We're proud of their hard work and enthusiasm in bringing history to life!

Craigieburn Library Class Visits

Students in Prep and Year 1 will be visiting the Hume Craigieburn Library next term. For your child to be able to borrow a book they must be a member of the library. If your child isn't a member already the weekend would be a great time for you to visit the library and become a member. To sign up, you need to visit the library in person and provide identification with your current address. If your child has a membership card but has not borrowed within the last 12 months, their library card will be expired. We look forward to the library visits next term and making use of this amazing community resource.
