Science News

Today, Year 7 had an awesome experience copying the energy and vibrations that the Earth produces when we feel an Earthquake.

Two classes were involved and they all jumped and clapped and made as much commotion as possible at the back of the science labs where the seismometer has been connected to the worldwide network.

While the students couldn't make an earthquake, they did have some fun and did make a disturbance enough to be seen on the seismograph.

Thanks to Mr Marshall and Mr Webb for organising the activity that shook the school!

Have a lovely safe weekend

Best wishes
