Foundation

This week we have had lots of exciting and different learning experiences. As part of reading we have had some Year 8 & 9 students from Rochester Secondary College visit to read to us and for us to read to them. They also gathered some ideas for a book they are going to create for us. 

For Science Week we took part in an incursion that was run by Twisted Science and made our own scales which connected to our mass unit in maths. 

On Tuesday and Wednesday some of the Preschool students came for a visit to see our school. On Tuesday we read The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, completed a rainbow fish craft, did a tour of the school and had a chance to play in the yard with the preschool students. On Wednesday we read There is a Snake in my School by David Walliams, made a snake using a paper plate, showed the second preschool group around our school and did sport with Ms McEvoy.
