National Bullying Prevention Week

This week we have been participating in activities as a whole school and in our classrooms to understand more about bullying and why it is COOL to the KIND.

National Bullying Prevention Week serves as an important platform to raise awareness of bullying and its impact on individuals and communities. Bullying has a long lasting effect on those who experience and witness it. But by channelling our collective power, through shared efforts and shared ambitions, we can reduce bullying together. From parents and carers, to employees and employers, to the media and politicians, to children and young people, we all have a part to play in coming together to make a difference. On Monday students were invited to wear odd socks to acknowledge and celebrate how everyone is different - that is what makes us, us!

On Wednesday we connected with our peers across all classrooms by having a picnic on our oval in the sunshine.
