Grade 5/6 Book Week Activity
Last week students in Grade 5/6A completed a Book Week activity about different photography viewpoints. Students were asked to take photos of each of the viewpoints. They did a wonderful job, here are a few examples.
Distance view - A distant view is a visual perspective of something located far away often with a wide scope or perspective. (Mackenzie)
Low angle – A low angle shot in film or photography is a shot where the camera is positioned below the subject looking up at it. (DJ)
Close up angle - A photograph taken from a short distance that gives a very detailed picture. (Xavier)
High angle - A high angle shot in film making is when the camera looks down on the subject from a high position. (Aliah)
Tilted view - A tilted view refers to a perspective or angle that is not straight or level causing your subject to a piece slanted or to have an oblique orientation (Aliah)
Birds Eye view - A Birds Eye view refers to an elevated top bottom perspective of a scene or object, similar to how a bird might see the world from the sky. (Xavier)
