CONGRATULATIONS to Jacob, Laura and Harriet, as they welcome baby 'Patrick' Johnson to liven up their lives. Mum, Bub, Dad and big sister all doing well.

First of September, Hats Remember!

Do not forget students will need to wear their school hat as of the 1st of September. If your child’s hat is frayed or has writing on it, it will need to be replaced. ETRPS hats can be purchased at the office for $10. Be SunSmart with us.

School Uniform

We have a number of students out of uniform currently and or wearing inappropriate bike shorts. Bike shorts are not part of our uniform and need to be replaced, please.

PLAIN navy blue skorts, navy blue shorts, Summer dresses - blue and white check and navy blue track pants are acceptable.

There is some perfectly good uniform pieces in our lost property and or uniform cupboard, should you need assistance with uniform.

Students that continue to be out of uniform will be given the opportunity to change in to school provided items and a phone call will be made home.

Planning for 2026

Our school is beginning to plan for 2026 and we'd like to hear from you. We continue to have a great response rate to our feedback opportunities. Please provide a letter, ClassDojo response, email or text to request a friend or friendship group for your child/ren to be with in class in 2026.

Our students will be given the opportunity to request three friends they would like to sit with in class also.

Requests will be considered when allocating students to classes early Term 4.

Parent Opinion Survey

The DET annual Parent Opinion Survey will open on the 18th August and will remain open until the 19th of September. Our school highly values the opinions of our parents and carers. Your responses assist our school to identify areas for improvement, plan for the future and also monitor our performance over time. It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, student engagement and experiences of remote and flexible learning. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.

100% per cent of parents will be invited to participate in this year’s survey and it will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. All responses to the survey are anonymous.

If you are randomly selected, an envelope will be sent home with your child containing the school pin and the website enabling you to access the survey.

Chewing Gum

Many students are bringing chewing gum to school. Please make sure your child/ren are not purchasing gum on the way to school or bringing it in from home.

Toys / Personal belongings

We are experiencing more social issues as a result of toys, Labubu dolls, squishy toys and other personal belongings being brought to school. There is disruption to learning times. Please leave personal belongings at home to ensure the safety of the items, as well as reducing the likelihood of mistaking who they belong to.

Any personal items at school will not be covered by insurance nor can we support your child if it goes missing, is broken or damaged.

 Exceptions include:

·         If the item is part of your child’s individual school plan

·         If your child has earned a Wally Reward, which allows them to bring a toy for the day.

Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
