Mamma Mia! What a Show đđđ
This yearâs production of Mamma Mia! was no doubt one of the most successful shows College has had, selling over 1503 across the four nights and some standing ovations!
Â
Congratulations to our amazing cast, who dedicated countless hours to rehearsals and soldiered through colds and sprained ankles.Â
Â
Huge thanks go to the band who brought ABBAâs music to life, which included students, music tuition teachers, and Benjamin Hiscock, the Collegeâs Musical Director.Â
Â
The sets, costumes, makeup, set changes, and all other backstage efforts were seamless thanks to countless staff, student, and parent helpers, while the lights, mics, and other technical aspects ran smoothly with the help of Mitchell Clode and several student helpers.Â
And of course, the show wouldnât have come to fruition without the commitment and passion from Director Angela Kenna and Assistant Director Emma Johnson. Bravo.
Â
What's next ....
Now that the show has come to its bittersweet end, younger cast members will be given the opportunity to develop their acting skills at Drama Club, which will meet at Wednesday lunchtimes for the remainder of the year and will be run by Grace and I as well as aspiring leaders in the older year levels. Grace and I look forward to seeing you there!
Â
Thank you again to everyone who devoted countless hours to make this yearâs production of Mamma Mia! such an incredible show!
