Worm Farm News

We have purchased more worms to help break down the amount of fruit and vege waste that our students produce each week. 

Thank you to Joel and Sue for providing the worms. With 7.6 million tonnes of food being wasted every year in Australia I encourage everyone at home to start your own worm farm. Its a fun and engaging way to turn your food waste into garden nutrients.

If you need any advice on starting at home, we have spent this whole year learning about the best ways to maintain a healthy worm farm and use the castings to grow stronger, healthier and juicer fruit.
