Grade Six

Term 3 has been an exciting and busy time in Grade 6!

In Mathematics, students have been exploring geometry and have had a fantastic time building our very own Geocity using 3D shapes. We have also been exploring patterns, algebra and BODMAS, developing problem-solving skills and strengthening our mathematical thinking.

In English, Book Week was a real highlight! We have been reading The Viewer and students have created their own discs, each inspired by a different world event. To go with their designs, they also produced thoughtful and creative writing pieces that showcased their imagination and critical thinking.

Fridays have been filled with fun and energy during Grade 6 sport, where students enjoy playing different games against other Grade 6 classes. Another highlight this term was

Masterchef, where students impressed us all with their teamwork, creativity and cooking skills.

We are now looking forward to our upcoming swimming lessons in Week 8, which will no doubt be another memorable experience to round out the term.

Grade 6 has certainly been a term full of learning, creativity and teamwork!
