Visual Art Class

In Year 3/4 Visual Art, students have been exploring the Fauvism art movement and learning about artists like André Derain and Henri Matisse, who loved using bold and bright colours. They also looked at the work of British artist Camila Perkins, who creates beautiful sceneries with short brushstrokes and vibrant colours. Inspired by these artists, students used paint sticks to make their own Fauvist-style landscapes. They had fun experimenting with colour and movement to bring energy and expression into their artworks.
