Join Us for Our School Working Bee!
We would love to have your help on Sunday, 31st August, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a Working Bee to refresh our school before our 100-Year Celebration. We have many options for families to select a time or job that suits you!
This is a great chance to come together as a school community, meet other parents/carers, and enjoy a morning of teamwork and fresh air. No special skills are needed, just a willingness to pitch in! If you have any gardening tools, gloves, or wheelbarrows, feel free to bring them along.
Children are welcome to attend under parent supervision, and we encourage everyone to come and be part of this rewarding project. Whether you can stay for half an hour or the full day, every bit of help makes a difference.
What we will be doing:
Gardening, planting and mulching
Cleaning and tidying outdoor spaces
Painting
If you can join us, please RSVP via the button below:
Thank you for helping us keep our school a beautiful, safe, and welcoming place for everyone!
Book Week Celebrations
What a wonderful week we had celebrating Book Week! Our school was buzzing with excitement as students and staff brought the magic of stories to life through their amazing themed costumes. From beloved book characters to creative original ideas, the effort and imagination on display was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to our teachers for organising not only the fantastic parade, but also the engaging activities throughout the week that encouraged a love of reading across all year levels. The joy and enthusiasm shown by our students reminds us just how powerful books and stories can be in sparking curiosity and imagination.
Our 100-Year Mural is Underway!
We are very excited to share that work has officially begun on our 100-Year Mural! This special project will be a vibrant celebration of our school’s history, achievements, and community spirit.
Students have been involved in helping to shape the design, ensuring the mural reflects the stories, values, and milestones that have made our school what it is today. Under the guidance of our Artist in Residence, Angharad Neal-Williams, the mural is quickly coming to life with colour, creativity, and meaning.
Once complete, this mural will be a lasting tribute to the past 100 years, as well as a gift to future generations of students and families. We can’t wait to see the finished artwork and to celebrate this piece of living history with our community.

100-Year Celebration Volunteers
Our 100-Year Celebration is getting closer and closer and we couldn't be more excited! To help the day run smoothly we are asking the school community for volunteers.
Please click the button below to volunteer on the day.
There are different areas you can volunteer for, including setting up, packing up, wrapping items, selling tickets, and working on stalls to name a few, with different times and days available.
We appreciate your help as we know a celebration like this takes a whole community.
We Want Our Parents / Caregivers / Guardians To Tell Us What They Think!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behavior, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning, and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025. All families are invited to participate in the survey. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
We will utilise the survey to plan for our School Strategic Plan and Annual Implementation Plan. We thank you in advance for taking the time to participate.
Please speak to the office if you would like more information.
100-Year Social Celebration
Thank you to the community members who have completed their expressions of interest for the 100-Year Social Celebration, however, due to low numbers, the event will not be going ahead.
As a reminder, from the beginning of September, all students are required to wear a school hat when playing and learning outdoors. If they do not have a hat, they will be required to stay under cover / in a shaded area, until they have a hat to wear.
