Book Week Celebrations

We had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week with dress-ups, storytelling, and sharing our favourite books! The children came dressed as beloved characters, filling the room with imagination and colour. Throughout the week, we read stories together and talked about why our favourite books are so special. Book Week is a highlight of the kinder year—it sparks a love of reading, encourages creativity, and brings us all together through the magic of stories.

Foundation Visit for Book Week

As part of our Book Week celebrations, we were thrilled to welcome the Foundation classes to kinder for a special shared activity based on the book Spiro. The older students helped lead a fun and creative session, giving our kinder children a taste of the school environment in a warm and familiar way. These visits are a wonderful part of our transition program, helping to build confidence and excitement for our kinders as they prepare to begin their school journey in 2026.

Wild Xposure 3YO Incursion

Our 3YO groups were buzzing with excitement during a special incursion from Wild Xposure! The children had the chance to see and interact with a range of fascinating Australian reptiles, including a baby crocodile, turtle, and blue-tongued lizard. There were big smiles, curious questions, and lots of wonder as the children learned about where these animals live, what they eat, and how they survive in the wild. It was a joyful, hands-on experience that sparked curiosity and a love for Australia’s amazing wildlife.

Holly's Bees 4 YO Incursion (Part 1) - Lasiandra

This term, our children enjoyed a buzzing visit from Holly’s Bees! During the incursion, they learned all about the vital role bees play in our environment—how they pollinate plants, help our food grow, and support healthy ecosystems. The children were fascinated by the life of bees and asked thoughtful questions, showing a growing awareness of the natural world around them. This engaging experience is the first of two sessions; next term, Holly will return to guide the children in using beeswax to make their own candle and sustainable food wrap. Through this program, the children are learning important lessons about caring for the environment and how small, sustainable choices can make a big difference.

Hats are back

As of Monday 1st September the children are required to wear hats, as per our sunsmart policy when outside. Please ensure that all hats are clearly named so they can make their way back to the right person if they go missing! It is great to also get your child in the habit of applying sunscreen prior to session in the morning.  Allow them to apply it themselves with your help, making sure they don't miss spots.   We also have sunscreen in the rooms and mirrors for the children to apply throughout the day.
