Hello VPS Parents and Friends! What a busy few weeks we have had at school. Last week was a hive of activity with Book Week events and celebrations, as well as our Production rehearsals and preparations ramping up. With only 3 more weeks left of term, both teachers and students are working hard to wrap up the terms work, and prepare for the final stage of 2025!
We are so excited for the upcoming production of Pirates Of The Curry Bean on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th of September. Students and teachers have been working so hard on their preparations for the show - it's going to be amazing! Don't forget to get your tickets as they are selling quickly! Last newsletter, we included information about the 2025 Parent Opinion Survey and how parents can take part in this. If you would like to complete the voluntary survey, please use this link https://research.orima.com/parent and enter the code 573576.
We would like to remind all parents and carers that it is important that you hold a current Working With Children Check if you would like to assist in class activities, excursions or camps. The WWCC is free for volunteers, and can be completed online at Working with Children Check .
Please read the attachment below for more information.
Last week, we all had a lot of fun dressing up for Book Week. There were so many activities for the children and staff to participate in. Please click on to the Literacy Tab of this newsletter for more details. We would like to say thank you to Mr John Hoskin and his literacy team for organising such an amazing week. Below are some photos of some of the staff dressing up.
