MACSEYE - Out of Hours Care
Dear Families,
What a fantastic week we've had in our Long Day Program! The children have been full of energy, creativity, and curiosity, and it's been a joy to see them so engaged in a variety of activities throughout the week.
🎲 Monday Fun & Team Spirit
We kicked off the week with a great mix of fun and learning. The children had a wonderful time playing Chinese Checkers, showing off their strategic thinking and patience. Our floor activity sessions were buzzing with excitement as children collaborated on large group games and worked together on shared tasks—such a great display of teamwork!
Later in the day, our young chefs rolled up their sleeves and baked delicious brownies. The room was filled with laughter (and the smell of chocolate), and everyone enjoyed the sweet results of their hard work.
💄 Hairdressing & Beauty Corner
Throughout the week, the Hairdressing and Beauty Corner has been buzzing with activity. The children loved taking turns doing Educator Tracey's hair and makeup – such creativity and care went into each makeover! It’s been a lovely way for them to explore role play and self-expression.
📦 Box Construction Creativity
The Box Construction Table has, as always, been a hub of imagination. Whether building robots, houses, or rocket ships, the children used their problem-solving and engineering skills in the most delightful ways. It's wonderful to watch their confidence grow with each creation.
✂️ Playdough Letters & Names
In our playdough area, children have been using letter cutters to spell out their names and the names of their family members. This hands-on activity has been a fun way to support literacy and fine motor skills while also sparking great conversations about home and family.

Important dates: 10th of Septemeber is the art show, so please mark your child absent if you are not attending afterschool care this day, as numbers will be low. Thank you!

With a variety of fun activities, supportive educators, cozy quiet spaces and healthy food options, MACSEYE supports each child’s well-being and development.
Available for children aged 5 to 12 years, Monday to Friday during school terms.
Before School Care hours
Mon-Fri: 6.45am-8.45am
Permanent: $25 per day
Casual: $30 per day
After School Care hours
Mon-Fri: 3:15pm-6:15pm
Permanent: $31.70 per day
Casual: $36.70 per day
