Writing

In Writing, students are going to begin publishing some of their favourite pieces of writing from this year.

Reading

In Reading, we will finish off this term's focus on Author's Choice by examining themes of a text. This will involve students using their skills of inferring to find hidden themes within a text.

Maths

In Maths, the students will have the opportunity to revise some of the key concepts that we have covered this year and spend some time working on deepening their knowledge of some of their individual misunderstandings. During applied sessions, students will continue building on their understanding of Probability.

Topic and STEAM

The Grade 6 students are enjoying sharing their memories of primary school as they continue their preparation for the Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony.

On Wednesday, the Grade 5 students in Mr Greer and Mr Mac's classes had their Pleasurable Food Education workshop where they made their own sandwich sushi. The Grade 5s in Mrs Byron and Mr Lidgett's classes will have their session next week.

Grade 6 Graduation - Repeat Notice

We are busily organising the Grade 6 Graduation, with students building their excitement for the event. We are currently thinking about the number of guests that will be present for the evening ceremony in the Hub, as we would like to ensure we have enough space / seating. If you know you have more than 3 people attending this event (other than your Grade 6 child), could you please communicate this with your child’s teacher. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Manya and numbers will be limited to parents only.
