X-mas Plant and Gift Sale
We are raising money for a local family who are a past Torquay Coast PS family. Adrian is very unwell and spent most of this year in hospital.
Both Adrian and Mel have volunteered countless hours coaching our community's kids in both basketball and netball. Mel is also the Vice President of the Surf Coast Suns and was recently awarded the AFL Barwon Junior Netball Administrator of 2023. This is a family that gives so much to our region - it's time to give something back.
A group of local friends is banding together to raise much needed funds to support them through this trying time. The harsh reality of having to fight for Adrian's health has come at a huge financial cost and as a result the family is faced with the real threat of having to sell their home.
On Saturday December 16th 2023 the fundraising initiative will kick off with a Christmas Gift and Plant Sale to be held at 1/11 Cylinders Drive, Torquay (next to FeedMe Surfcoast). From 8am to 1pm. Nursery grown plants and new/near new quality gifts and clothes will be selling at great prices. Every dollar raised will go directly to the family. The BBQ will be fired up for a sausage sizzle.
