CHRISTMAS EVENTS WITH THE SOCIAL JUSTICE TEAM

What a week the Social Justice Team has had-our busiest ever!

On Monday we met with the Mini Vinnies from St Mary’s and St Brendan’s for our end of year meeting and Christmas lunch (which was kindly prepared by Matt and served by Justine).

We then made 72 Christmas Hampers for those in need in our community. 

After that we filled the shelves in the food distribution centre.

We sincerely thank everyone who donated food for our hampers. Please know you have made a difference to someone’s life.

On Wednesday we had a wonderful morning at Arcare participating in a Christmas liturgy and singing Christmas songs for the residents and talking with them. 

After Arcare, we went to Red Hill Bakery in Balnarring to sing Christmas songs to the customers and spread Christmas joy. We had a fabulous day.
