Preps

After nearly 200 days of schooling we are nearly at the end of the first year of school. It has been a year full of challenges, hard work but also plenty of smiles, laughs and good times.

We have had a couple of really exciting events to wrap up the year. The kids have been working super hard to learn the dance for the performance at the concert on Friday night. They absolutely love the song and think they are going to rock the school. Our tall building demonstration was an absolute highlight. It was amazing to see how much work had gone into the buildings and how well they could withstand all three natural disasters.

We wanted to finish this newsletter piece with a couple of thank you’s. Firstly, to all of the parents who went above and beyond this year to help with their child’s schooling we feel largely in your debt for all the work you did. The kids have had an amazing year and you have played a huge part in that. We also wanted to thank you for all of the support you give us, whether this be helping in the room, doing reading every night or building a tower out of products from home you are always there to help us and the kids. No request we make is ever too much to ask.

Secondly, we want to thank the 28 Preps that have made this year so amazing. They make coming to work every day such a joy and we both feel so lucky to have taught them this year. They are such a well-behaved bunch who loved being challenged with their work but also love having a smile and a laugh. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period.
