Term 4 Merit Event:
On Tuesday 5th December selected students will participate in the Term 4 Merit Event. This event recognises and celebrates their academic effort and achievement in term 4. The students will walk to the Rec Oval/Park for games, play time and a Zooper Dooper during period 2 and return at the beginning of lunch time. Students should wear school uniform. There is no cost for this event.
Superb Event:
On Friday 8th December those students who have reached ‘Superb’ level of our Merit Scheme will be acknowledged with a day at Big Splash in Canberra. Students will travel by bus, leaving school at 9am and returning at 3.20pm. Students may bring their own lunch or purchase from Big Splash on the day. The shop at Big Splash accepts cash or card. Students are to wear full school sports uniform and bring swimmers, hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. A note has already gone home to students invited to attend this event. Please return permission notes ASAP.
Please find below the details for the new Harlequin e-store that has been set up for Boorowa Central School to enable individuals to purchase school approved Primary and Senior Ergo backpacks, lunchboxes and pencil cases if they would like to do so. These will be made and sent out to families directly as ordered so no need for a big order, to store or handle the sales. It is all done for us.

If we could publicise that these items are available for purchase we can help raise funds for the P&C and benefit Boorowa Central with 10% of each sale coming directly back to us. Would it be possible to post the link and flyer on Facebook and include it in our next school newsletter? I realise induction packs have already been completed for Kindystart and year 7 but perhaps we can get the information to these groups in particular or plan to include for next year. Anyone in any year group K-12 is welcome to purchase.
