Whole School Musical

Our whole school musical “The Amazing Race Boambee” was performed over two days and nights by the extremely talented students of Boambee Public School. It was a huge task for all involved - staff and students - to bring it all together. The result was four overjoyed and thoroughly entertained audiences, and students who were excited to have been part of their first musical stage performance. As their music teacher, I am proud of every one of the students for playing their parts. I would especially like to acknowledge the role Shelley Richards played as our compere. The work that went into learning the dialogue for the roles of the four contestants was astronomical, so I particularly want to applaud Pippa Robertson, Quincy Barrow, Chelsea White and Chisel Hudson. Thank you to all of our school community for supporting us by attending one of the performances. It was a very successful fundraising event for our school, but more importantly, one our students will always remember.
