Primary Sub-School News
Students have now completed their final week in their 2023 classroom. Next week, after the student free day on Monday 11th, students will be in their new classrooms as of Tuesday 12th December. On Monday, staff will work together to have a handover of information about your child, and prepare the classrooms for these particular needs. As your child is learning some new faces and routines and the year is coming to an end, you may notice your child is more tired than usual. Consistent bed time routines, reassurance and a re-visit of the social story provided, will support your child to become confident and comfortable with the transition to their 2024 classroom over these final weeks.
The Primary students celebrated a successful year of following the JSA Expected Behaviours; Look after self, Look after others, Look after property, with an excursion to Crocs Play Centre. The students showed excellent listening and waiting skills at the centre. Well done to the primary students.
Today, we had a special visit from Santa! Every student had the opportunity to experience time with Santa in a small group. The photos look beautiful, and will be sent home with your child.

Room 1 have had an amazing 2023. They learned how to make friends, listen to instructions, communicate their feelings, follow classroom routines, and develop an understanding of the JSA expected behaviour matrix. We are so proud of their achievements.
The highlights for Term 4- performing for the school concert, attending the Minibeast incursion and Crocs Playcentre and Kinder Gym excursions, meeting Healthy Harold and making Christmas decorations.
