Classroom Connection

What's happening in the specialist classes?

Ahoy Scientists!

This week has been a busy one in STEM. Luckily for the 1/2s we have had more consistent cloud weather and we have been able to identify different stratus, cumulus, cirrus and nimbus clouds! The 3-6s have begun the prototype phase of their projects. The 3/4s have begun their inventions to Save Planet Earth, with groups designing 3D models, Lego machines and cardboard models. Our 5/6s have put their interplanetary ideas to the test and begun their Mars habitats, rovers and rocket ships, seriously this work is out of this world!

Also, thanks to a few of our 3/4 students, their cohort were able to enjoy their freshly picked snow peas! (It always astounds me how eager they are to eat vegetables that they’ve grown! Parents this may be the answer…)

Have a look at these peas in a pod picking more peas in pods!

Have a great weekend everyone!
