French

Thank you so much to the whole community for your enthusiasm and participation in our French day on 31st October!! It was absolutely wonderful to see so many people dressed up - everyone looked amazing! Bonus points to the students who had their own baguettes to munch on throughout the day - that was fantastic. 

I hope you all enjoyed your French lunches, it looked delicious. Even though donuts might not be 'French', they were in French colours and looking very tasty indeed! 

What a wonderful sight it was to see so many students join us in the amphitheatre for a boogie at our lunchtime French disco. It was so much fun to have a dance with you all and the conga line around the school yard made my day. 

Thank you as well to our amazing class room teachers for incorporating French into their day and completing different French activities around the school. 

It is so lovely to have the opportunity to come together and celebrate culture. I think learning languages is such an important aspect of education that really helps students to understand and embrace our differences and to find similarities with others from all over the world. I love teaching French and I love that our students enjoy it and embraced French day so warmly.
