Cyber Safety - eSafety Commission
Just as everyday safety objects help protect you from different harms, eSafety protects you when you go online. We educate Australians about online safety risks and help to remove harmful content such as cyberbullying of children, adult cyber abuse and intimate images or videos shared without consent.

Wellbeing Check-Ins in 2024 - Pulse Check
As a progression from the PIVOT pilot program in 2023 which was used to monitor and check in on students wellbeing, in 2024 we will be commencing our PULSE check 3-6 check in Program. The transition from Pivot to Pulse will provide additional support and check in alternatives for our 3-6 students which we believe is of great benefit.
EI Pulse is a wellbeing application that will help us monitor student wellbeing and school culture and will be installed on student devices. Students will have the opportunity to indicate how they are feeling via the app and can also ask for help, if needed. We will then use this information to provide support to students and make improvements to school culture.
We have assessed the value and security of this software with guidance from the Department of Education and Training. Our staff are aware of how to use the software appropriately and how to help your child use it safely.
We will be providing you with a consent form (via compass) with more information about EI Pulse before it is rolled out in at the commencement of 2024. If you have any questions or concerns at this stage, please contact Erin Gleeson at erin.gleeson2@education.vic.gov.au.
