From the Head of the Junior School

The highlight of week 7 was undoubtedly the Early Years Nativity “Prickly Hay” at Wentworth Falls. Our students in Pre K, Kindergarten and Stage 1 were absolutely outstanding. It takes a lot of commitment to remember cues and lines, songs and choreography, and lots of courage to get up and perform! I’m so proud of all of the children and can’t wait to see the show featuring the Springwood students next week.

Ms Walters has shared exciting news about children getting involved in the Premiers Reading Challenge. Last year, just three children from Wentworth Falls campus were involved. This year there were over 40! Many children may like to continue their reading over the holidays with the BMCC Summer Reading Challenge. There are incentives for individuals and for the school if children get involved. Find out more using the QR code below:

Finally, a reminder to register for Vacation Care if you require it (your Expression of Interest will not guarantee a place). Children Pre K – Year 6 from both campuses can be involved. Miss Tayla will be coming with children on the school bus up from Springwood each day and the team have lots of wonderful things planned. Make sure you fill in all of the forms, found online at MyBMGS. The link has been sent to families. If you need any assistance, please contact Mrs Arrell or Mrs Boros.
