Science, Sailing and Cycling
This semester in Co-Curricular, boys from Year 7 to 9 worked together to plan, design and build a payload to send an object to the upper atmosphere, which is higher than the ozone layer. If everything goes to plan, we hope to launch the payload and weather balloon these holidays.
This semester in Sailing, students once again went out into the Swan River to learn the fundamental and basics of sailing. It was a very eventful semester, with students having fun on the sailing boats, many capsizes, the stand-up paddle boards and learning how to drive and operate a powerboat.
Also in Semester Two, students took part in cycling around the city and the Swan River. It was a fun, engaging and healthy way to explore our home of the city. Students were exceptional and had a great time.
