Gymnastics
Clayfield College proudly hosted the 2025 Andrews Cup Artistic Gymnastics Championships, welcoming associated schools to the PE Centre for a day of precision, teamwork, and energy. The Clayfield teams sparkled in their leotards and delivered beautifully executed routines across all grades.
The College achieved outstanding results with:
2nd in both C1 and C2 Grades
The results reflected the girls’ commitment and spirit. Sincere thanks to Delta Gymnastics for their ongoing support with training and preparation.

Basketball
In Andrews Cup Basketball, our A, B and C teams took to the courts at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre. It was a full day of fast-paced play and teamwork, with the A and B teams placing 8th and the C team finishing 6th overall. Each team demonstrated great improvement and determination throughout the competition.
Thank you to our dedicated Clayfield basketball coaches for their guidance and encouragement.

AFL Highlights
This term also marked Clayfield’s debut in the Andrews Cup AFL Invitational. Entering both an A and B team, the girls quickly embraced the game’s challenges, developing new skills and a genuine love for the sport. The B team impressed with a strong run through to the grand final, finishing as runners-up against Moreton Bay College.
A special thank you to our AFL coach, Matt Beattie, for his enthusiasm, leadership and for inspiring the girls in this exciting new chapter for Clayfield sport.
