Year 12, welcome to the start of your HSC academic year for 2025-26.
This information concerns the College expectations around timetabled Study periods. As you have regular Study periods within your timetable, it is important that you are following these guidelines and making the most of the time available to you.
For every timetabled study period, you are expected to be in the Learning Hub or Library as indicated on your timetable. If you have a study session first thing in the morning, you may come in late (before Connect) or during your last session of the day you may swipe out at the front office and go home, upon return of the signed permission note.
Students in the library must be studying, researching, reading, writing or working. Students in the Learning Hub may be studying, relaxing, eating or collaborating in a quiet and respectful manner. Students must remain on school grounds at all times during a timetabled study session, and may not leave the Library or Learning Hub without permission.
Permission to work elsewhere in the College during your study (Art, Music, Industrial Technology Workshop, Careers, Counsellors etc) is by Green Card only and must be signed by the teacher on duty in the study space. We are collecting non perishable food items and new toys to be packed in Christmas hampers for families in need of support. Please start bringing items to the library and place there near the Christmas tree.
