Ms Brea Terris

Dear Families,
Last Friday, our school grounds were bursting with colour, energy, and excitement as students, staff, and families came together for this year’s Colour Fun Run. It truly was an amazing day from start to finish.
The atmosphere was electric, with bright smiles, splashes of colour, and plenty of laughter as students made their way around the course.
Whether they ran, walked, danced, slipped or skipped their way through, every participant embraced the fun and spirit of the event.
A huge thank-you to our staff who helped set up the course, prepared colour stations and got slimed!
We also extend our gratitude to our families and community members who came along to cheer, participate, or simply share in the excitement — your support is what makes days like these so special.
Events like the Colour Fun Run are a wonderful reminder of what makes Swan Hill North Primary School such a vibrant and connected school community. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, better teamwork, or better smiles! Well done to everyone on the fundraising efforts!
Step Up
Today we welcomed our 2026 Foundation students. They were very excited about coming to school! Welcome to the SHNPS community.
Regional Athletics
Congratulation to Miles and Tyndarah who represented our school at the State Athletics on Thursday 6th November. They did an amazing job and should be proud of their efforts!
Hats
Students will need to wear their school hat during Term 4. Hats can be purchased at the office.
Parking
Please be aware that Police and Swan Hill Rural City Council have been monitoring parking on Murlong Street before and after school due to the ongoing building works.
Please ensure bus bays on both Murlong and Chapman Street are kept clear before and after school.
We kindly ask all families to please use the designated school crossing on Murlong Street to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
2026 Enrolments
If you know of any families who would like a tour of the school, please encourage them to contact the office.
Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school. 'Word of mouth' is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding many enquiries about our school.
2026 Requests
It is the time of year we begin planning for 2026. If you have any requests for the next school year please don't hesitate to reach out via email.
Uniform
Please ensure students are in full school uniform. It is important that students have a school jumper on and not a casual jumper. We have spare jumpers at the office if students need them.
Duty of Care
Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.
Have a lovely weekend.
Kind Regards
Brea
