Library News

As we wrap up 2025, it’s time to celebrate our achievements and share some important reminders.
Loyalty Card Winner
Congratulations to Elspeth King, the winner of this term’s Library Loyalty Card challenge! She completed six or more books this term—a fantastic effort. Thank you to everyone who participated and kept the reading spirit alive.
Senior Book Club
Our Senior Book Club held its final meeting last week, marking the end of a wonderful first year for this new initiative. What a great start! The discussions have been insightful and engaging, and we can’t wait to continue building this community in 2026.
Returning Loans
Before heading off for the holidays, please ensure:
All general library loans and textbooks are returned.
Year 11 students must return any textbooks they are not currently using, including all Unit 1 & 2 books.
- Laptops go home for the holidays and return with you in 2026.
Missing the Library?
If you’re looking for books over the break, remember:
Our local public libraries are open throughout the holidays.
- SORA is available for borrowing eBooks, audiobooks, and eMagazines anytime, anywhere.
We wish everyone a joyous holiday season and look forward to another great year of reading in 2026!
Happy reading,
Simone Gillies Suzanne Assenheim
