Great Wheelbarrow Race

St Stephen’s Catholic College had a phenomenal showing at the 2025 Great Wheelbarrow Race, proudly nominating two dedicated student teams to take on the iconic 140 km challenge from Mareeba to Chillagoe.

Both teams performed exceptionally well, with our junior team placing 3rd in the school division and 7th overall, while our senior team claimed the 'Golden Wheelbarrow' from the first day, finishing 1st in the school division and 1st overall!

In addition to the remarkable results, the students raised $8,845.68 for the Mareeba Friends of the Hospital Foundation.

Trivia Night

We will also be hosting a Trivia Night in March next year! Our 2025 Trivia Night was a huge success, with lots of fun and laughter!

We welcome teams of 4 - 8 players, or register as an individual, and we will organise a team for you. Mexi-Van will be on-site, offering a variety of food for purchase.
