Term 4
As we come to the end of Term 4, our Year 8 students are at the end of their time in the Year 7/8 section before they move into Year 9. Throughout the year, all students have worked exceptionally well, building strong friendships and engaging enthusiastically with new learning across all subjects. Their growth, both academically and socially, has been wonderful to see.
This term, our Community Challenge program has been a highlight. Students have participated in a wide range of hands-on activities including Action Sports, team games, gardening, cooking and dance. These experiences have helped students develop teamwork and confidence while trying new things.
Students have also been learning about how to care for the environment. They have planted trees, upcycled old clothing, and explored the impact of balloons on birds and animals. They have shown curiosity and an interest in making positive choices for the planet.
As we move into Term 4, some students may be feeling nervous about the transition to new classes in 2026, wondering Who will be my teacher? Who will be in my class? What is the new building like? These feelings are completely normal, and we will continue to support students throughout the transition process. Over the coming weeks, students will have opportunities to learn more about their new classes, meet staff, and explore what next year’s learning will look like.
It has been a great year of learning, and we are incredibly proud of our students.
