King's Got Talent
Last week, we held our inaugural King's Got Talent show. From dancing to stand-up comedy, whip cracking and music peformances, a range of amazing talents were on display from our students.
Congratulations to Year 9 students Zach P, Ben B and Tim S, who were the overall winners of the show for their rock band performance (video below).
A big thank you to the large team of staff and students who helped put this show together, and a special thank you to Nathan R (Year 9) for capturing these photos.
Warrnambool Food Drive
Our VCE VM class has organised foodshare bins at school and encourage students, families and staff to donate non-perishable items to them in support of the Warrnambool Food Drive.
There is a poster above each of these blue bins with suggestions of food items. Examples of items you can donate include dry pasta, tinned soup, long life milk, cereal, biscuits etc.
Bins are located in the Reception foyer, the Junior School wing, and the Senior School wing. Thank you for your support.
Japanese Homestay Program 2025
King's College Japanese Homestay Program returns from 11th - 23rd March 2025. This program is an opportunity for you and your family to host a Japanese student aged 14 to 15 with basic English skills for 12 days.
Experience and learn about a different culture, while sharing our own culture with a Japanese student. You do not need to know Japanese to take part in this program. The student will take part in your normal family routine and attend school with your child.
You will receive $600 to cover any out of pocket expenses, and will have full 24/7 support from our Homestay Coordinator, Les Gardiner. Please contact him anytime on 0418 519 833 or email lgardiner@kings.vic.edu.au to find out more about taking part in this program.
