Nazareth Day 2024

Our day began with morning Pastoral, where staff and students alike donated a gold coin in exchange for wearing casual clothes.  This was followed by a whole school assembly.

After assembly, it was time for the activities and food!  Students were rostered on for 15 minutes during the day to serve at one of the stalls or activities, supervised by staff.  The rest of the time was spent playing games, buying items at stalls, indulging taste buds at the various food stands, screaming on the Bad Boys II ride or attempting to dunk a teacher into some very cold water.

At 1.00 pm the activities finished and it was time to clean up.  After that was completed it was time for one of the highlights of the day - the Nazareth Talent Quest!

While the judges tallied their scores a Cosplay competition was held.  Our contestants were judged on their likeness to the character in appearance, body language and gestures, as well as the effort gone into constructing their costume.  Congratulations to Sew.A.Story who cosplayed Vtuber Rin Penrose.

Congratulations also go to the winners of the Talent Quest - Giuliana Artho (Year 8 MK2) and Anthony Nguyen (Year 11 MC3).  Emily Diaz (Year 7 MK6) was awarded second place and Masa Basic (Year 8 MX3) received the prize for third place. We thank all our contestants - both performers and Cosplayers - for entertaining us, our judges (Mr Mark O'Sullivan, Ms Jackie Ousalkas, Ms Romy Bilu and Mr Joshua Cowan), our MCs (Anthony Nguyen and Aleksander Delosevic) and the organisers of the Quest, Mr Simon Landid and Mr Victor Brusco.
