From our Principal

Christine Pillot

Well done to each and everyone of our amazing students on the achievements they have made this term.  It has been pleasing to see students engaging in learning tasks, incursions, excursions and our whole school activities throughout term 3.  Students particularly had fun during Book Week attending the Meerkat Production of Timeless, and participating in the Croydon SDS Mini-Olympics.

Staffing Update

This week we say goodbye to three staff members who are moving on to new adventures. We thank Emma Garside for her work over the past nearly 10 years.  Emma has taught in the classroom and was our PE teacher this year.  She will be taking her skills to a leadership position at Eastern Ranges School.  Next term we welcome Steven Chen to our school and as our new PE teacher.

Education Support Staff member Naomi Campbell will be leaving this term to start a new career in HR and administration.  Thank you to Naomi for her work in the primary section over the past two years.  She will be replaced in room 4 by Kate L who is a current staff member.

We also acknowledge Chris Eves' work with us over the past couple of years as a regular Casual Relief Teacher.  Chris is moving to Sydney to be closer to her family.  She looks forward to spending more time with, especially her grandchildren.

We wish Emma, Naomi and Chris all the very best with their next chapter in life.

Happy Holidays

Wishing everyone a restful, enjoyable and safe school break.   I hope you take the time to recharge the batteries ready for term 4.
