The ‘Art Lives Here’ tour explores the following: How does where an artwork lives or is displayed influence the way we see it and understand it? What defines a museum collection?

In this learning tour, led by experienced Art Gallery educators, the girls will be introduced to key artworks in the Art Gallery’s collection, examine different gallery spaces, and discover new ways of looking at and thinking about art and museum collections. Art lives here is designed to engage students with a range of artistic practices, and to spark curiosity about art and museums, as well as critical thinking about art and ideas.

Permission slips will be sent home closer to the excursion dates.
